Notes: Bucky is estimated to be about 3 months old. He came to the rescue via Halifax County Animal Control. The X-ray shows this poor guy was definitely shot. The vet said it is better to leave the pellet where it is unless it gets infected, as it would cause more damage to remove it. Bucky has received medication to kill the Mange mites, antibiotic to help repair his skin and remove any infection in his nose, and pain relief for his itchy skin and the hole in his nose.

NOTE: Puppies chew, mess and make a noise. They require vaccines, sterilization, training and lots of patience! Think carefully before adding a puppy to your family. They do not have an 'OFF' switch! .

Adoption Application Form
Before you can adopt one of the dogs you need to complete our Adoption Application Form. Applications must be submitted and vetting/personal references must be checked before an adoption is completed. You will not be able to adopt a puppy or dog if you do not have a verified application. Pre-approved applications have priority over new applications. Due to lack of volunteer time, we are only able to answer questions from prospective adopters that have filled out an application form.
